Agreed that it is not people (mass) that makes a country. You went to the extreme, to mention Switzerland. My whole point about the US return to its natural size, it is base on its resources, population, geographic size and a particular set of circumstances that allowed the US to have 45% of the world's economy by the end of the WWII. There is absolutely nothing special about the US to warrant that. Meaning those particular set of circumstances disappearing, relentless, and unstoppable the US will return to its natural size. Od say 15% of the world's economy.
