A Canadian Provincial Contract; A Provincial Canadian Company; The Canadian Gov. has a rep. of buying products from Canadian Companies.
EX. Canadian Frigate Program. Designed in Canada; Built in Saint John NB.
EX. Canadain Buildin Automation Protocol. A protocol developed which gives Canadian Companies an Advantage over US counterparts; on Canadian Government projects.
I think because this technology is in it's infancy that the Canadian Government will have very little choice but to use Mytec. As for the length of time. I would rather the Company take it's time to ensure a Quality Supperior Product.
This is an excellent company with great long term and short term potential. Show me any other company that Matches Mytec's Steady growth and potential; and I will invest. Until then I'm 110% behind Mytec. >>
----today Myt is at $3 range, has steadily dropped for 2 months. It is depresssing. Wish I had shorted it. However, to rebut the "buy Canadian" argument, free trade is getting ever more restrictive. And besides, isolated examples abound, of ignoring the home town boys. Take the DOD in Ottawa -- (please) -- they needed a word processor -- so they looked at WP (Corel) and at MS Word --- and the decision was to go with the Yankee outfit. Leaving Corel out to dry. That cost me a few dollars, as I bet on Corel. Companies like Mytec seem to have everything going for them -- good backing, smart technical people, solid patents -- but what they are sometimes missing is the liasons that make things work. Like being in synch with some systems integrator. Without that, they are wasting their time, because it is the INTEGRATOR that makes the decision, not the purchaser of the system. Like when you take your Maxima into the Nissan dealer for a new transmission. Do you have a hope in hell of influencing the dealer into sticking in a FORD Probe transmission? No no and no. Mytec is way out to lunch in marketing direct to cities/countries. The wimpy Mytec shareholders need to get at the management and kick ass. It is time to turn around or fold up.
