When and if Osama bin Laden is caught, the same thing will happen. Bin Laden has set up his command structure with just such an eventuality in mind. We are in a Third world War in which the battlefield is everywhere. It will not end because a general is captured. What his capture would do is tempt the present administration to reduce its troop commitment and if that occurs the entire place will implode.
