Hi X, I am so tired of politics so I want to revive your thread and talk about movies and books.. And to start: Reading "The New Yorker" (01,19,04 issue).. earlier this evening, I read about the movie, "Touching the Void", I had not heard about it before. WOW! Or even the story.. What a story, since we are connected to climbing and mountaineering... And so how one must "cut the other loose" when all the chips are on the line but the one other survives to tell the tale. Maybe it is like politics, (here I go again, <g>) you let one go, and S(he) comes crawling back as the survivor and maybe hero?.. I don't know, life is really complex and never easy.. m
