What locals? The Hizbullah are not "locals". You think the Lebanese want them there? Not even the Shi'a. The Lebanese are an occupied people. I repeat, the US is already in Baghdad, in the heart of the Arab lands. To be in Syria too is a difference in quantity, not a difference in kind - except to the players directly affected.
