My ranking of how well each did last night.

7. Clark - the man seems to be a walking contradiction. He fumbled the Moore question and really looked disingenuous when asked about his corporate lobbying efforts and about his written support for the war last April.

6. Sharpton - no matter what the question, he has the same answer, give something to African Americans. Fed Reserve? Give to African Americans! Iran regime change? Give to African Americans! Hey Al, do you know the difference between the IMF and the Fed?

5. Kucinich - he must think we all make as much as AROD because it would take that much to fund his programs.

4. Kerry - he doesn't connect with people. Not warm or heartfelt. His answers seem stock and a bit robotic. Maybe he's just having a hard time adjusting to frontrunner status.

3. Dean - showed his personality a little last night and is staying on message. Could attain hurt puppydog status, which would help his campaign.

2. Edwards - although he was ignorant of the Defense of Marriage Act, he danced better on it than Sharpton did on his Fed Reserve question. The guy is smart and pretty smooth without the arrogance of Kerry. A definite darkhorse.

1. Lieberman - he's toast in this primary, so he's letting it all out to preserve his reputation in the Senate. Completely at ease last night, talking about the issues as if he believed in them, talking about values and principles. Unfortunately for him, his party has neither.
