Some people are content to live in their ZIP code all their lives, never curious enough about the world to jump on a plane and live the adventure that breathing another atmosphere is... ... which is OK. It is a personal choice. However, I am flabbergasted by this guy saying "traveling is bad because travellers bring disease and war and lies to other lands". It is one thing to say "I am happy living in my neighbourhood and can't be bothered to travel", but this is something else entirely.
