Roach has been dead wrong several times.
In fact if you read his post even today he seems to be bitching about interest rates thinking they wil go up.

Very few people think they are headed lower.
I find it wierd that roach misses this key point when he is correct overall on inflation/deflation.

The entire world is so so lopsided on inflation now. Think back 2 years ago - everyone was scared of deflation and it did not happen, now NO one sees the possibility of a severe recession and the deflationary pressures that would cause.

It is truly amazing.
For the record, I was a treasury bear last year and was wrong. Right now, I think there are better plays than long treasuries (namely eurodollars) but short treasuries sure has been wrong. It remains to be seen for how long.
