Dave-->>I don't see why you continue to harp on your comparison of Kodak v. Sandisk.<<

I make the comparison to show the differences between Kodak and SanDisk in terms of quality of management decisionmaking. It couldn't be worse at Kodak (I have personal experience with this, since I know many of the culprits), and it would be hard to be better than at SNDK.

When companies have a track record of doing the right things year after year, an investor has a much easier job. Just go along with the management, which, by virtue of its prior record, will end up doing the right thing for shareholders. There are so many things that SNDK could have done, which would have NOT been in the shareholders best interest. Yet time after time, they've made the kinds of decisions that over the long pull maximize shareholder value. And they have also shown that they are scrupulously honest in disclosing good and bad events in a timely manner.

The majority of investors tend to look at more quantifiable performance measures, but quality of management is the real key to a successful investment.
