Hi d j chen. Excellent question and I'm glad you asked.

I am still in the process of deciding which indices or ETF's ect. to monitor for signals in all of the ultrasector funds.

I can tell you that I have had much better luck using SPDR'S,ETF, and HOLDRS as proxies for trading the indexes they track.They tend to front run the indexes and provide much better signals for our purpose here.

For example I use the QQQ as my proxy for generating trading signals for NDX funds. It sounds back wards but it works!
