I found some of them repellent, others sensible. I think he's a clod, though, basically. 9/11 has a "huge silver lining"? He should shut up about that. And oomph? And "a certain appetite" for war?
Hey, children get maimed in it. Burned. Orphaned. Control your appetite, Sir, is my suggestion. Rein in the oomph. At least your public flaunting of it. It's war, for Chrissake. You know, dead bodies, weeping mothers, pain, shock, loss, grief, blood?
Could be a great military man, though, for all I know.
