A Walmart TV ad just played showing actors pretending to be downhome folks saying how great it was when Walmart moved into town & brought some jobs. It is so not true that small towns are happy to see Walmart. Within 2yrs after a new WMT opens, small businesses close down & everyone is forced to buy WMT's bland tasting, plastic packaged, boring food and dreary, chinese peasant type apparel. When the population realizes that WMT's presence is having such a negative effect on the area, many of them choose to shop elsewhere.
