It's best to do a search and read articles and reports put out on market size forecasts. "This market' is a nebulous term. What market? WiMAX will evolve into several segments that offer a variety of opportunities and are about as different from each other as night and day. So a question like that is loaded: total market size varies depending on many factors: are you just talking about the traditional WMAN/PtP back haul market and new 'fixed' wireless or are you also considering the possibility that WiMAX will extend into mass markets with end user products marketed similar to WiFi junk? The argument can be made for from $1 billion to $5 billion by 2007, take your pick!
