| That's hard to say, Maurice. New homes are better built, more energy efficient, and bigger, but have tiny lots. Older homes are better situated geographically, while new developments require you to spend a lot of time on the freeway. New homes don't require much maintenance, older places here need new roofs, new plumbing, new wiring. Some older homes have nice architecture and are valuable for that; eg Craftsman Style, California Bungalow, Victorian. There's just too many variables for me to know. |
