On the other hand, John, why not keep adding to the portfolio while it's so cheap? A guy I know at Storage Tech told his mother-in-law to buy STK, said EMC had bad suppliers and STK had the IBM connection. Of course, the supplier rumor is old hat and erroneous--why else would EMC keep getting No. 1 accolades from the users--and one way of looking at the STK/IBM partnership is that STK acknowledged it couldn't build a worldwide marketing and sales operation (like EMC's), while IBM couldn't seem to build a useful competitor. I'd say this simplifies the marketing battle for EMC, and as I said before, this is one gigantic market that will have more than enough growth for EMC.
I also like CPQ with its new products, and, of course, CA and Intel.
