Material Change Report / TIER III Portfolio

Beginning Cash Component $26,211.72

Over the last few weeks, it has become apparent to me that I needed to add an international junior to either my Tier II or III Portfolio.

I bit the bullet and have added a U.S. company to my Tier III Portfolio. Up until this point in time, the only U.S. holdings in my portfolios were the companies contained in my Tier I Portfolio. Most of those shares were acquired as a result of the U.S. companies buying out Canadian companies of which I held at the time. So, this event is more or less a new territory of coverage for me.

Added 20040123

1500 Shares VAALCO Energy Ltd. (VEIX) @ US $2.13
Converted to CDN $2.91 (rounded)
Total Investment CDN $4,365.00
