Yes? Do the words "drunken sailor" enter your mind?

Getting close. I'm disturbed, but think the budget will settle down, hopefully, and can be reduced in the upcoming years. The 28 billion giveaway to one of the richest segments of our society, the farmers, angers me mightily. the catch phrase "family farmer' is obsolete. I recall several years when congress passed a law limiting the milk subsidy to 2 million dollars per farm. A very large dairy outfit in California, among others, I'm sure, split this huge farm into 5 separate corporations placing a son or daughter at the helm of each corp. to subvert the law. The farm bill, of course, is only one example of chicanery in gov't. Bush's budget for 2004 is supposed to limit increases in spending to 1%. We'll see.
