No Brent, the antichrist, not satan, is referred to as the "man of sin' and the "son of perdition". satan is a spiritual being. he is "the adversary". Confusion reigns when man's doctrines cloud scripture. You take a verse from Isaiah that plainly refers to a man and apply it to satan. God created satan as he is. satan has been the way he is "from the beginning". Christ Himself has declared it. 1 John 3:8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. alan w I'll take Christ's word over yours.
