When it has happened in the past, American colonists committed terrorists acts against the Brits
I don't know of any instances where there was an organized program of the rebel movement to target innocent British citizens simply going about their daily lives. Certainly there was no such organized campaign, and no group which made carrying out such terror acts their goal. And if there were, it would have been wrong.
the French against M. Antoinette and company
Ditto. M. Antoinette was part of the government they were overthrowing, and as far as I know virtually all or all of the people sent to the guilliotine were part of the aristocracy which had put the government in place and supported it. I am not as familiar with that revolution as ours, but again, I don't know of any group which was publicly and extensively committed to such tactics. And again, if there were such, it would have been wrong.
the Zionists against the Brits
As far as I know, the few British in Palestine who were targeted by the Zionists were all government servants, not innocent civilians.
During those times, many innocent civilians were killed.
That may be true. But there is a vast difference between deliberately targeting innocent civilians as a tactic of opposition and innocent civilians getting killed during the process of an attack on an enemy target, particularly when the enemy is deliberetely hiding in the civilian population for the purpose of making sure that if he or she is attacked innocent civilians will iikely be killed. That is a deliberate tactic of the Palestinians, to use their own innocent civilians as shields and political pawns, and I think that, too, is disgusting. I'm disappointed that you don't.
Your sense of morality and mine seem very, very divergent. I suppose you even support the 9-11 attacks, or at least see them as legitimate, since their justification is the same as that of the Palestinian suicide bombings. |
