I still thing "we have nothing to fear but fear itself" is a far, far better approach.
The next time al Qaeda or one of the other terrorist organizations pulls off one of its periodic stunts, I'll remind you of that. Maybe what you have to fear are the guns, bombs, and missiles they use. The same logic could have been used in WW2: "What the ****, it's just a bunch off shrimps that wear Coke-bottle glasses and another bunch of goose stepping clowns from Charlie Chaplin movies. What have we got to worry about?"
