Mephisto, we are trying to understand Kerry's candidacy. During the NH debate on Thursday, Kerry said and we all watched on TV (instead of reading a reporter's interpreted report) that "this President did not exhaust all means available to him before putting young American soldiers in harm's way." he went to say that as President, he Kerry would be in a position to look the eye of a mother, a wife, and tell them that he has exhausted all means. In the case of this war. junior Bush did not do so. We all know that in 1991, after Bush Sr. immediately following his order to attack, he went into the WH chapel, knelt down, prayed side by side with Billy Graham, then pulled himself up with tears in his eyes and took an hour long walk with Billy Graham in the White House lawns.

This President is surrounded by gun wielding bozos and they encourage him to be trigger happy and they have even given a name to it; pre-emptive strike!?!?

It is Kerry's to loose. He has struck a chord in the hearts and minds of the people. Memories of PT-109 bravery. And this time as in 1960, it is Massachussetts.
