He proposed a series of measures, most of which lacked sufficient support, to cut spending programs for intelligence. Did he succeed in cutting the budget and the size of the CIA. I don't know and the author does not care to say what the results of his efforts were. If they did not have cuts then obviously he has the right to question the status of the CIA since many thing shave happened with the CIA then. Do you know what they are? I don't, but one thing I know is that there have been changes. It could not have been static. With Dean, we all saw what happened on TV. We don't have to read news article to find that out.
