Here's a link to the BBC's notes on Scott Ritter:

Carl... do yourself a favor and stop trying to claim that Ritter is a credible source.

This isn't about supporting Baathism. It's about supporting the USA. You can't support America with lies.

Hmmm... so should the US support the UN (or even remain a member) given it's history of lies?

Because it's apparent that the UNSC, apart from the US and UK, lied about it's intent to enforce sanctions and inspections against Iraq until there was total confidence of Saddam's compliance with his obligations.

And they must have lied about the material breach they asserted Iraq was guilty of when they unanimously passed 1441.

So no Carl.. It's about the US/UK being the only permanent members of the UNSC with the cajones to actually enforce it's binding resolutions, with military force when necessary..

And it's about the direct, and indirect, machinations on the part of many other UNSC members to avoid obligating the UN to enforcing it's own laws..

And most importantly, it's about whether the UN has any role to play as an international governing body for the foreseeable future.
