just keeping this active so as not to lose some of the information I have posted on the topic.

Brief update. Treated for PC 7 years ago next month, radioactive seed implants followed by external radiation.

PSA stable for nearly 6 years at a very low 0.1...the clinic that treated me claims "cure" if PSA remains at 0.2 or below at 5 years post-treatment.

last year was a bitch in a number of ways...lost my job of 14 years, PSA steadily risen in the last 4 PSA tests, now at 1.0, another to be done in late March, fighting the clock before my medical benefits run out as I am basically "uninsurable" to have an expensive series of further diagnostics done to determine exactly *where* the little buggers are. (no charge for run on sentence!)

"Just dropped by to see what condition my condition was in" and to copy some stuff from this thread, PC stats. The rest of it seems like it was written by someone else....oh to be "young" again! :-)

Cheers!

Hubert
