It's getting worse, again, in Iraq. A couple more kids are dead, it doesn't make the front page anymore. It's becoming routine. That's when we know. We've lost track of our sense of moral outrage. It's just another grunt, no big deal... It helps that we have a president who doesn't believe he should attend the funerals of soldiers and who rarely makes hospital visits. BTW the lead general in Iraq said today that he is convinced that al Qaeda seems to be helping the Saddam loyalists........they know this because the technical sophistication of their bombs and weapons is improving. Duh! We are 10 months into the war and they are just figuring that out now? They either play dumb in order to withhold info from the American public, or they are dumb! I can't decide which..... Do you think Bush will extricate us from Iraq no matter the circumstances when the interim gov't takes over? ted
