I think the WMD issue has been overplayed. Imo, pretty much everyone believed that Saddam had WMD. I was concerned with smallpox as a weapon prior to war, did research on it, and pretty much every expert agree that we have to assume Saddam has smallpox. I was certainly convinced he had it, and was relieved to learn my immunization would still protect me in an outbreak.

I don't think WMD is the issue. The issue is whether Iraq was a legitimate threat, with or without WMD.
