Hi Cary,
I'm in Florida viiting an old friend (who's recovering from Cancer surgery).

No big salesprediction yet - butI would like to bring attention to an article in IBD's Monday paper -page A11.

This article discusses test instruments in both machine vision and chip testing

The author predicts chip testhandling to grow from 03's revenue of 2.4 billion to 04's predicted 3.5 billion.

He futher states Ter orer growth was above expectations for both November and December. Most expect order growth to be gradually better through all of 04.That would be great but greed always shows up if past cycles are indicative.

Next and best he also states "Amog chip builders, analysts state "demand has been high for wirebonding ( klic he does't name the company) and "pick and place machines used in IC making" (once again he doesn't state Cohu - but Cohu is sure enough the inventor/dominant maker of pick and place - last I saw was 95% of domestic makers.

I hope this gives us a preview of Cohu's webcast this wednesday - my bet is it will be strong.

I also hope that the growth will be gradual through out this next year.

That way we can project annualized earnings of 1.75 and 2.00 per year.Histrically - that gets us a two for one stock split. Then the fast run up - which will be the clue to distribute our favite investment.

JMHO

Hoping for a good webcast!

Bob
