It sounds like Clark is scrambling for his life!.

It makes me think those doubts I had based on the odd silence from so many retired senior military leaders who were his bosses and peers may have been justified.

I don't think many knew him better, when you consider they had to evaluate him in various levels of stress and responsibility.

It's actually too bad the other candidates didn't also have similar judges of their character.
