Don't be too quick to take credit. I see nothing but smoke and mirrors, along with a bunch of garbage innuendo from people who do not want to see a general in the WH.
I am starting to see some character assassination on a highly decorated vet who has done nothing less than dedicate his whole life serving his country. After all, with his resume, he could have just quit after Vietnam and gone to the private sector to enrich himself, like so many others.
And, for all his sacrifices, he gets smeared with repeated questions on whether is he a true democrat? When Phil Gramm switched parties many moons ago, did the press assailed him and doubted his allegiance to the republican party?
Clark has made mistakes, thanks in no small part because he is, after all, a rookie politician. Whether he recovers from these mistakes, is still to be seem.
