Jesus was very tolerant to people unless they were rich, miserly, selfish, etc. He believed in love and forgiveness #1 and helping the poor #2. The right-wing likes to forget all that and claim Jesus was just some gay-bashing angel. In fact, the real Jesus was a flesh and blood man with desires and weaknesses. Some say the real Jesus was even married, a king and had children. The Bible was much rewritten by prudish sexist men over the ages. But one strong message comes through no matter what Jesus was personally. That is he preached love, forgiveness and sharing the wealth. Those three cannot be disputed. It is also not disputed that if God created the earth that man shouldn't feel free to muck it up, poison it and exploit it for short term profits. In that sense, we are all sinners, but especially the Bushie types who pay the campaign for the right to pollute. Finally, if homosexuality is Bush's big issue in 2004, then look at the Catholic Church. Talk about hypocrisy.
