Ted, once again I have to repeat the facts to you: - Kerry formed the "Vietnam Veterans Against the War" society and staged protests right alongside Jane Fonda and Ramsey Clark. So what?! The war was wrong! We should not have been in Vietnam. L. Johnson, another texan btw, did the same thing that Bush did......lied to the American people in order to get his way. Five hundred thousand Americans died because of that example of hubris and mendacity. When will you get it? Kerry has nothing to do ashamed of......its Johnson and Bush who should be ashamed! - Kerry wrote a book entitled "The New Soldier" with a picture of an upside-down flag on the cover. Up until today, used copies were still available on Amazon.com. So what?! People like Bush and Johnson corrupt what that flag stands for! We are not a nation that attacks another without just cause. That flag stands for democracy and freedom and not aggression and lies. People like Bush and Johnson forget that point......or they just don't care. - Kerry threw medals over a fence at the U.S. Capitol, but later admitted they were not his medals. If they were his medals, then he can do what he wants with them. If they are someone else's, then he needs to address that person and explain his actions. Its none of yours or my business! To often people get hung up on flags and medals and forget the important stuff.........the principles for which those symbols, and that's all they are, stand! Frankly, I am fed up with Newsmax and the Nat. Review.....they rarely find a problem with the right, only the left. Like their president, I suspect they lie as well! ted
