The rich actually fare worse under Bush in the long run because the weakened middleclass consumers won't spend as much and will bo into hock. Under Clinton it was done the right way. The rich were taxed and everyone won. Notice no race riots under Clinton but plenty under Bush Sr.

The rich have many tax write-offs and can easily lower their tax payments so long as they invest in job creating enterprises. But Bush lets them off scott free. If you live on stock dividends now and are very rich you pay very little. You can pass it on for nothing and your family remains rich and idle forever. Bad idea.

We cannot be a country for the rich by the rich or else we turn into a big fat third world economy with huge crowds of struggling people and a few at the top living in gated estates wearing Gucci. That is not American. That is a government by the stinking rich buying democracy. Having to work for aq living is good for everyone. Bush encourages a whole class of rich never having to ever work, generation after generation. He himself comes from that class and he rewards it, punishing all others.
