Just thinking. Sorry, I don't think that would work.

For a start this would mean we would all have to rely on arable land for a food source. Secondly, and more importantly, there has to be a strong commercial reason to actually make these improvements. It would take a lot of work and investment to restore inland sea areas that support a large amount of healthy fish. The investments will also probably mean cleaning up pollution too. Money money money.

We could try and eat seaweed of course, but I will stand up for seaweeds rights and declare they should be left to a peaceful existence without slaughter from human beings! I think I could make a convincing argument.-g-
