Another excellent article by Friedman.... It just makes me wonder though... Why do so many people find my opinions so extreme when I essentially agree with 90% of Friedman's analysis and recommendations?? Is Friedman a reactionary extremist? Or is it merely that some of my less favorite antagonists are marxist and socialist extremists? Or is it that they just hate Bush so much that they can't see the forest for the trees?? Whatever the case, it's too bad... Because my views transend the Bush administration. They have to because this battle is going to take years... We have an entire region to modernize and moderate... And hopefully we're not giving the Arabs the rope with which they will eventually hang us sometime in the future.. Hawk
