Your previous statement:
I am self employed. I pay corporate taxes.

My response:
It explains a lot about your POV.
Self-employed persons, even using an S corporation
structure, still pay personal income taxes. The fact
that you don't is surprising in one sense, and not
surprising in another.

Your rebuttal:
That makes no sense. You don't know how much I make nor what deductions I have. And I might be using a C corp. structure. Why not worry about the issue at hand and not my personal finances. For better or worse, I will deal with them myself.

The reason I even commented regarding your personal
circumstances is that it seemed evident that you
really manage not to pay any significant taxes.
That makes it far easier to lecture about how much
others should pay.

A self employed person using a corporate structure
can really minimize their taxes and end up not
paying their own "fair share", to use the
favored lingo of the left.

I doubt you're a C Corp.......(See:
toolkit.cch.com

As for the percentage any taxpayer should pay,
I think it should be as low as possible. High
tax rates have not helped any of the European
countries.

My comment:
hope you hadn't been using Arthur Andersen as
your accountants.<g> The statute of limitations is
4 years from the date of filing, I believe.

Your response:
A.Anderson no longer exists.

My reply:
I know that.
A.A. was in existence during the SOL
period and I did use the past tense.:-)
