As your post indicates, the Europeans have a better perspective of the gay issue. It is the same here in the US but it has been politicized so much that it has lost focus in the US.

And regarding anthrax, I sure would like to know who did that. And I am not alone. As chuck indicated, most of these militias are out to get the Federal folks and so far they have not targeted the non-Aryan folks. The KKK is dormant. But I am not saying they cannot come back. But when everything is said and done, the US is till the best place where there is harmony in spite of the diverse racial mix. The recent threat I see comes from the Christian-Islam feelings.
