I agree with your comments on Edwards. Regarding Clark, when he made the comment about General and Lieutenant, he indicated that he is still thinking in terms of the military. And in the WH you cannot do so once you don civilian clothes. So his mindset is not there yet and that is what disqualifies him from being on the ticket in any shape or form.
