Thomas, I think you should spend some time on C-Span, watching at least one of each of the Democrat candidate speeches. Who knows, you might come away from the experience with a different impression. I'll tell ya right now: The nominee of the Democrats will be gathering not only independent votes, but also Republican votes. These are the best candidates the Democrats have fielded in a long, long time! Why bicker meaninglessly with a few of us here on this thread. Do what I suggested and our back and forth on this thread will become so much to the better. Hey, we might even end up arguing meaningfully--lol!
