Thanks to all of you for your thoughtful analyses... As a 'newbie' who has only been following the markets since the late 90's and who got burned bad by the bear, I am very reluctant to buy at anything other than bargain basement prices. So I am sitting things out now, for the most part, and have been taken profits the last few months... (At least I have some!) I'm not sure you can read from me what other newbies are thinking, but my impulse (which I will try to resist) is to jump in late when I am convinced that we are solidly in a new bull market, with all the major corrections behind us.
