Six GIs KIA today. Most if not all from the 82nd Airborne Division...Probably FNGs. An 82nd Brigade just deployed over there. They will get smarter fast.

Confirmed that the MSG I wrote about a few days ago was KIA in Iraq. I believe he was the first Green Beret to die in combat there.

Lately our policy has been to counterattack fiercely. That is the only solution to ambushes...Hope we keep it up. As Patton said to his troops..."Your job is to help the enemy accomplish his mission, which is to die for his country.
