Al, second-guessing the motives of those opposed to the war will not get you anywhere. They too believed that Saddam had WMD, but figured that sanctions were the right course of action instead of war. The only reason they wanted to see those sanctions eased was because of the toll it took on the Iraqi people, NOT because they thought Saddam was a good boy all of a sudden.
