I don't think so. One huge detail that can make all the difference--each man's supporters. Dean has the young vote--that's where the energy is that's needed for hard work of a campaign at this level. Lots of phone calls, door to door, rallies organized, presence on the internet where millions have been donated. Dean has the fire & excitement needed to ultimately grant GW Bush a permanent vacation at his beloved ranch in Texas.
Kerry has been a WashDC insider for far too many yrs. Even the WashDC beat reporters have lost their independence. They've become so compromised by the politicians that they act like PR operatives for members of congress.
I agree that Edwards & Sharpton will do well in the South UNLESS the Rev gives Dean his endorsement--that could happen. Edwards will be the VP on either Dean/Edwards or Kerry/Edwards ticket--he contributes the "southern comfort" factor.
