I think the freebies business is ridiculous. An averaged user will never pay for the technical support (which represents the only source of revenue those companies hope for). Instead, the user will just switch to something they can easily understand and never pay a penny. If I were the one to run this kind of business, I will only make the trial versions for free (such as those that don't allow to save and print). Users still have to pay the full price to get the full version. Unfortunately, there're marketing people out there who think otherwise. All I can say is "Good luck" to them. And I strongly believe someday they will have to come back to the more sensible strategy I mentioned above. BTW, if I were to get out of MGXI today, I would be on the positive side somehow due to consistent averaging down and trading extra shares. (Hey, consider that I first bought MGXI at mid 8 last year and it never quite get back to that level...) So, I guess I will be more patient on MGXI and see if they can pull this one out...
