Liti3D, a division of Liti Holographics, today announced the availability of its 3D Twin Camera Systems for hologram capture, which enable users to capture a full 3D model of a subject and then convert it into a 3D hologram. Never before has capturing a hologram been this easy.
Liti3D has developed several different 3D Twin Camera Systems so that customers can choose the best system for their particular needs, ranging in price from $349 to $2999. Each system includes special cameras and hardware for 3D hologram capture, as well as a starter package of 3D image processing, a screen saver output, an email head output, and a custom, full-color hologram. Additional 3D outputs and holograms can be individually ordered.
Liti3D's Twin Camera Systems capture an image of a person or subject from two unique positions at the same time. From these images a 3D computer graphics model of the subject is generated, recreating the curves, contours, and three-dimensional depth of the original subject. The final 3D image can then be turned into a full-color, 3D hologram portrait far beyond any ordinary picture. The 3D output can also be turned into a 3D screensaver or "e-mail head."

Film-Based Capture: 35mm film-based cameras with auto focus and zoom lenses. Requires the additional step of digitizing or scanning the images after capture, but this can often be done automatically when the film is developed.
