Well Trufflette, we're on opposite sides of this one. I'm long.
Course I bought it at av. 45 and don't want to sell for the long term.

If we get a general major downdraft you'll be in the chips pretty good. Otherwise...

Well, obviously its not what I'd short. Momentum may have taken it a little far, but the fundamental argument is compelling.

It could turn out that everyone else figures out how Dell does it so much better (including than Gateway and Micron ELECTRONICS does), but I doubt it. The whole industry is major consolidating, and Dell and Compaq will be the winners, with HP and IBM still strong shares, prob. Gateway does ok with home pcs. IMHO.

Rambus is so much more overvalued than Dell that i can't even begin to talk about it. You want to short for a crash, Rmbs is a sure thing.
And while it may trade, the scary upside is broken, I think.

I tried to short monday, and may do again. (I've never shorted before, so I'm screwing up my courage, being well aware of the abundant risk.)
