I think one question the dem candidate is going to have to answer to have any chance of winning is "Which nation would you have attacked?"

The American people are uneasy with the war with Iraq, but at the same time they do not feel that 9/11 was sufficiently avenged with just the destruction of the Taliban.

So I don't think pacifism is going to work, the dem candidate is going to have to show a willingness to throw down on somebody (for instance, Syria).
