Victor, today the durable goods numbers were bad (this is the capex recovery people are waiting for) and at the same time Greenspan signalled to the market that he will raise rates sometime down the road.

What this tells me is that Greenspan is considering raising rates even in this employment market. Capex won't happen, it has gone offshore. And no capex means no full employment. I have suspected for a while that AG would be raising rates without employment gains prior to the reelection.

Bush really is the cause for a stagflation environment in the US.
