Hello Pezz, Report – Canadian Front:
I sold my full wallop of Saskatchewan Wheat Pool at CAD 0.405/shr Message 19427737 <<October 23rd, 2003>> for (a) small profit of 16%, and (b) for CAD so that I can top up my Canadian Oil Sands uk.finance.yahoo.com position at CAD 49/shr.

I prefer COS to SasWheat because I am guessing, (a) the weather that is good for my natural gas plays would be awful for wheat in Canada (I have wheat in Australia Message 19500572 <<November 13th, 2003>>), (b) COS pays a dividend, (c) starting to be in the mainstream news flow, (d) is a Saudi Arabia but next to the US, (f) producing a fuel that is priced for international distribution (as opposed to natural gas that is strictly a local barter), (g) oil may be priced at USD 50+ level at some point, and then at Euro 50+ at some other point.

The Canadian Oil Sands were piled so:
Message 19005086 <<June 5th, 2003 … at CAD 35.60>>
Message 19419437 <<October 21st, 2003 … at CAD 39.30/shr>>

Chugs, Jay
