That's not entirely fair to FaultLine, imho ... keeping away from ad hominem really does raise the level of debate ... he just wants something more thoughtful than many are able or willing to provide .... i used to rebel against it too, but then he was ill and not around for a while, that shifted the responsibility .... any given opinion can be expressed in a wide variety of manners [or lack thereof-g-]

Nookular weapons are pretty much completely defensive weapons, also, that's another thing Carl pointed out well ... there is the possibility of an utter madman getting his hands on one, though, i don't think you can write off the suicide bomber scenario ... this Kim of North Korea is a real piece of work, born and raised into an inherited dictatorship, imagine that, it would have to twist your mind .... and Pakistan, yikes, the mad mullahs could be only a few gunshots from ruling there .... without this ill-planned invasion of Iraq there would be more resources available with which to improve Afghanistan, right up against the Pakistan border ...
