| Thomas, The gullibility of the US media and public shock me, and I'm a cynic who considers himself too sophisticated to be shocked by anything. LBJ fooled America with The Gulf of Tonkin incident, but, when another Texan, George Dubya, makes up a WMD scam, nobody asks any hard questions. Tricky Dick burglarized Democratic hq, but he was re-elected AFTER Watergate, which makes me think Dubya has a shot after Lying Bastardgate. <G> And nobody in the media other than Krugman, who I am starting to respect despite his goofus economics (not as goofus as Art Joker's, er, Laffer's, but still pretty silly), will call the voting machine rigging a problem.
